Cílem práce je představit jejich kariéry, největší sportovní úspěchy a porovnat jejich herní styly. Práce se také věnuje jejich přínosu světovému tenisu a rivalitě, která ovlivnila vývoj tohoto sportu v posledních desetiletích. Na základě získaných informací je ukázáno, proč jsou tito hráči považováni za tenisové legendy.
