The Philosophy

Built for authenticity,
not approximation.

The British Sim Series isn't a lobby. It's a fully stewarded, regulation-enforced racing series modelled directly on the real-world British GT and GB4 championships — complete with manual race control, a bespoke sporting code, and live broadcast production every single round.

GT Class Structure

Three classes. One battlefield.

iRating-based class divisions ensure every team competes on fair terms, with promotions enforced mid-season and no demotions permitted.

PRO
Pro Class
The sharp end of the grid. Both drivers must carry elite-level pace and composure across every stint.
Both drivers > 2500 iRating
PRO-AM
Pro-Am Class
The most strategic class. AM drivers in 3-hour events must complete at least two stints — no hiding behind the quicker half of the pairing.
One driver >2500 · one driver <2000
AM
Am Class
A true club racer's championship. Consistent racers who love the sport more than the numbers. No less serious for it.
Both drivers < 2000 iRating

Eight rounds. Every corner of the British Isles — and one trip to Spa.

All events run on Sundays. The GT calendar spans four distinct race lengths, culminating in the Heritage 6-Hours at the legendary Silverstone 2008 layout.

Custom Sporting Regulations

Rules that make racing feel real.

Fair Share is disabled. Every regulation is written, enforced, and stewarded by humans — because automation can't replicate the nuance of real-world motorsport.

Pit Windows
Strictly enforced timed pit windows govern all driver swaps. Violations earn Drive-Throughs or 30-second Stop-and-Go penalties. FCY or SC periods extend windows 1-for-1 if pit lane is closed.
🏁
Tire Regulations
In 60-minute races, teams run their starting rubber to the flag — no changes permitted. Longer endurance formats allow free tire choice at any legal stop.
🌧
Wet Pit Windows
Race Control may declare a Wet Window for safety tire changes. In sprints, driver swaps can be executed during this window. In endurance, swaps are banned — wet windows are for tires only.
😴
6-Hour Fatigue Rule
No driver may complete more than two consecutive stints at the Heritage 6-Hours. A mandatory rest of at least one full stint is required before returning to the cockpit.
🔄
Driver Minimums
Every registered driver must complete at least one full stint per race. There are no shortcuts — if you're on the entry list, you drive.
📈
Mid-Season Promotions
iRating milestones trigger automatic class promotions. Teams keep their driver line-up but compete in the higher class. Demotions are never permitted.

More than a race. A broadcast.

Live Broadcast
Every GT and GB4 round streamed live with dedicated graphics packages and full commentary teams.
🏆
Prize Money
Cash prizes awarded to the top three teams across both championships and all GT sub-classes.
🥇
Physical Trophies
Real hardware. Championship winners and Heritage 6-Hours outright victors receive physical trophies.
⚖️
Live Stewards
A dedicated, impartial stewarding panel handles all incidents in real time — no automated judgements.
